Major International PR group require a senior executive for their operation in South Africa. The role - We would like someone with a minimum of 3 years experience, being it from a PR agency background or in house. The job holder would have to be used to dealing with CFEs on a regular basis, to be degree educated and be able to commit to working in South Africa for a period of 3 years or so. London based FS Team Leader PR/IR (CH2)
Major PR company require the following: - The role - Generally: This person is an expert in the PR IR field and has the gravitas to retain/win clients and deliver PR strategy on a day to day basis. They will have a minimum of five years agency experience and are likely to have Financial Services experience. Summary of responsibilities: To be responsible for: * Building a team and developing new business * The team achieving the objectives set annually including budgets * The individual members of their teams, supervising the quality of their work and their work load, annual and interim appraisals * The individual accounts of the team, overseeing strategy of each account, maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining costs within budget * New business programme / business plan * Ensuring that their team is adequately resourced and backed at all times (including holidays) and assessing recruitment needs * Initiating and maintaining quality control and administrative procedures * Generating a strong team spirit both with members of their team and with other Team Leaders * Overseeing new business pitches * Monitoring time sheets * Engaging in the search for cross selling opportunities - The person ~ You will have significant experience in Financial Services ~ You will need to have the level of contacts and kudos to drive and deliver significant new business ~ You will have operated at senior level and have a track record of successful business development and new business wins ~ You will have strong leadership skills and be a team player ~ You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills ~ A strong character, together with a positive can- attitude with excellent project management skills ~ You will have the ability to operate comfortably and influence at senior level, both internally and externally Package In addition to a competitive salary, you will be entitled to:- Pension scheme Private Health Care Life Assurance Gym membership

This person will have three years’ agency experience. They will be able to speak knowledgably about their sector and have the ability to manage clients. The candidates career aim would be to progress to Partner status.
